We do provide free sizing at the time your order is processed. Customers who are unable to determine the proper ring size typically opt for us not to size the ring. It is generally better to not size a ring until the exact size is known. This is true for the diamond engagement ring and the diamond wedding ring that may be purchased at a later date.

Keep in mind that the ring size required can change over time. When you purchase your diamond engagement ring, the size needed may be larger or smaller than that needed for the diamond wedding ring that will eventually accompany the engagement ring on your wedding day. This is not all that unusual due to possible weight gain or loss and knowing the exact size will again be required when it comes time to buy the diamond wedding ring to ensure a proper fit.

In situations where we do not size the ring, you can take the ring to a local jeweler to have it sized. Whether it be a diamond engagement ring or a diamond wedding ring, the cost will vary depending on what size is needed and the type of metal used in the ring. A platinum ring will cost more to size than a gold or white gold ring. It will cost more to make the ring larger than it will to make it smaller. If the ring needs to be smaller you can typically expect to pay between 30 and 50 dollars. If the ring needs to be larger, the price can range anywhere from 40 to 120 dollars and higher depending on how much larger the ring has to be.
